Salsa!

Want to add some flare to your meal? Just add salsa to chicken or a salad. Salsa is just 5 cal/Tbsp. You can add a lot of salsa without blowing your calorie count for the day.
Make a Tex-mex chicken salad, use 2 Tbsp of salsa instead of salad dressing. Still too boring? Add 1 Tbsp fat-free sour cream for 15 calories, giving a total of 25 calories.
The best part of salsa as dressing? It's fat free! Compare that to a lite Italian dressing, which is about 50 calories per 2 Tbsp and 45 of those calories are from fat. Adding salsa and cutting out the salad dressing is a yummy and easy way to reduce fat calories.
Give it a try!
