It is our belief that each client is different, so therefore each program should be specifically designed around YOU, to focus on YOUR NEEDS. Each type of program can be further customized with your trainer to help you reach YOUR specific goals. With all of Atlas’s programs, you can expect individual attention from your Certified Trainer. It's all about YOU!
You can expect periodic reviews of your progress, and your trainer can also perform periodic skinfold testing to track changes in your percentage of body fat and lean body mass as a result of your training program. This is performed with a device called a caliper, and is a more accurate way to assess body composition than measuring weight and body mass index (BMI) alone.
Standard Personalized Training
Once your fitness goals and your baseline body measurements have been determined, Atlas Personal Trainers will create an exercise program tailored to accomplish your goals. Your Certified Personal Trainer will ensure that your workout program continues to meet your original fitness goals, and will modify your routine to help accomplish any new goals you may have.
A specialized training process combining strength and endurance exercises, sport specific training focuses on personal fitness goals to achieve optimum athletic ability. Atlas Personal Trainers has worked with many types of athletes including those in football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, cycling, and more to improve their performance.
Atlas Personal Trainers offers massage therapy sessions to those who need to relax after a workout or to release stress. A variety of massages and techniques are available, with each session lasting from thirty minutes to one hour, based on your request. Packages are offered, although they are not required.
Atlas Personal Trainers' Massage Therapist, Joe Elardo has been practicing massage therapy for many years. He started in a gym setting after one of his co-workers was complaining about shoulder tightness and asked him for his help. Joe began his training after she recommended he should further his skills in massage therapy. He then finished with a certificate from the Baltimore School of Massage. Adding Massage Therapy to his Personal Training background has helped him make a difference in clients' lives by motivating them to seek personal fitness and well-being.

I don’t like exercising in front of others. How can you help?
No worries, we offer a private training studio for your needs, which offers the same equipment (if not more) than a standard gym.
I’m on a budget. Is personal training really affordable?
Absolutely! The small amount that you invest in your fitness training now may reduce your overall health care costs. Consider working out with a friend or purchasing one of our packages for the best value. In addition to personal training, Atlas can also provide private nutritional consultation! This added value to your overall program is unmatched by other training centers.
I don’t know anything about exercising or working out – do I need to?
No, not at all. That’s exactly why we’re here! We’re here to help you. There’s no time like the present to start working toward a more vibrant, healthier you!
What kind of nutritional programs do you have?

I’m not a body builder. I’m not even athletic. Why would I use a personal trainer?
We all need a coach at times. A personal trainer will provide the instruction and encouragement that will enable you to get the most from your workouts. Your Atlas Trainer can guide you to a fit and healthier lifestyle and tailor the programs to fit your needs.
I have a pre-existing condition. Can I still use a personal trainer?
Yes you can. Your doctor will evaluate whether or not you are ready for physical activity. Atlas has proven results from people with with medical conditions such as obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Also, if the need still arises, your trainer will contact your doctor to discuss the best training options for you.
I’m really busy. Does this take up a lot of time?
Are you worth a few hours a week? Of course you are! We can help you make a lifestyle change that will result in a healthier, happier you. We can also teach you how you can continue your exercise program outside of the Atlas studio. We want you to meet your fitness goals and can show you how!
I’ve already joined a gym, but I would like to get more out of my workouts. How can Atlas help?
We offer Atlas Extend, a program that enables you to meet a Personal Trainer at our studio once a week to go over your workout program. Your Atlas Trainer will monitor your progress and update your program regularly to help you get the most out of your time at your own facility.
